My Brother's Big Day

The Happy Couple

The first week of August my brother got MARRIED!  I remember him as a little boy in cowboy boots, a Batman cape, and Bugs Bunny hat riding a Big Wheel with a rubber band gun in his hand.  Now, he has a wife and is on his own!  Crazy how fast life goes by.  I am so so happy for him and I know he found a great girl.  Katarina is sweet and kind and matches Jace so well.  She has made him very happy and I am so glad we got be a part of their special day.  Here are a few pics of the big day.

They were married in the Bountiful Temple

The day was gorgeous and not crazy hot considering it was the first weekend in August.  The temple was very busy with beautiful brides but I don't think anyone could hold a candle to this cute couple.  I am so happy to see them start their lives together in such a beautiful way.  They have begun an eternal family together.  Every time I think about that, I am in awe.

I was not excited about being six months pregnant and puffy in the middle of August taking pictures of myself with cute skinny girls.  Therefore, this is the only picture of me I am willing to share with the world.  :)

The reception was held in Katarina's grandparents backyard.  It was so beautiful and there was a nice breeze keeping us cool most of the time.  It almost looked like rain but the God's were on our side and it missed us completely. 

The wedding was definitely a family affair, everyone helped a little somewhere.  My dad put up the lights, my aunt helped etch the mirrors for the centerpieces, and my sister catered with her amazing caramel apples and other chocolate treats (I made the signs :) ).  No one could sample the treats without gaining at least five pounds.  You can check out my sister's company, Sager Sweets, on her blog here.  Craig and the guys took on the all important decorating of the wedding escape vehicle.
