Have you ever noticed that some of the funnest things you ever do are simple, spur of the moment, small things? The day after the 4th of July was a pretty quiet day. Since the 4th was on a Sunday, Craig's work took the 5th off to celebrate. Well, most of the celebrations were over and we didn't really have a lot to do. We were sitting around when someone had the bright idea to take a ride up to Logan and go mini golfing. We could have just gone a few miles down the road to the local mini golf but this sounded like more fun.
We headed up and the mini golf place was closed and the next one we went to was circa 1962 and had never been upgraded since. Thank heavens for Google on your phone. We found another mini golf place right at the edge of a newer housing development. It turned out to be one of the funnest mini golf courses I've ever played.
There were tons of trees and shade around the course. There weren't any big windmills or other manmade obstacles to the course but each hole was challenging and fun.
We also had some fun with the camera so I have a ton of pictures.
They had some fun balls decorated as basketballs, pumpkins, and other round things. They cost a dollar a piece and four out of five of us ended up buying one.
They had old wagons and farm equipment set up around different holes and it seemed picture perfect. The surroundings were so pretty we decided to goof around and take a few posed shots, too.
When we were done we were starving and ended up getting pizza at a little place just off of the Utah State campus that Craig said his family used to go to all the time. It really was a fun day.
